ORGANIC COTTON:
Organic cotton is produced and certified to organic agricultural standards. The production focusses on the health of soils, ecosystems and people by using natural processes rather than artificial inputs like pesticides. Organic cotton farming does not allow the use of toxic chemicals or GMOs (genetically modified organisms). Instead, it combines tradition, innovation and science to benefit the shared environment and promote a good quality of life for all involved.
We can offer both BCI (Better Cotton Initiative) and GOTS (Global Organic Textiles Standard) certified cotton.
RECYCLED POLYESTER:
Recycled plastic is made by industrial waste such as plastic bottles or fishnets, shipping it to processing facilities, melting it down into pellets and then spinning those pellets into new polyester fibers.
By using recycled polyester, we’re saving natural resources. Instead of introducing new oil into the environment, we’re able to save just over one liter of oil per kilo of recycled material.
Using post-consumer recycled polyester also allows us to decrease the amount of plastic waste in the environment. We can turn one kilo of collected waste - ocean plastic - into one kilo of recycled material.
All our recycled polyester is certified by GRS (Global Recycled Standard)
LENZING™ ECOVERO™:
Lenzing Ecovero is sustainable viscose where the fibers are from sustainable wood and pulp, coming from certified and controlled sources. The manufacturing of Lenzing Ecovero fibres generate up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose.
